It's been a year since we last shared our news with you on this blog, and in the meantime, life at Life Transition® has been full of action! The most visible milestone was taking the step to operate as Life Transition® Consulting SL
A leap that was not just administrative: it was the confirmation that our project has solid roots and wings to grow , accompanying people and companies in executive coaching, team coaching, leadership and awareness-raising processes in Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) .
But beyond the structures, what has marked this year has been the shared experiences !
Coaching, prevention, and conscious leadership: a year of meetings
This year, we have designed and facilitated exclusive coaching programs for companies , training in occupational risk prevention (ORP) , and workshops to improve communication and conflict management in organizations.
Some of the most inspiring milestones:
Individual coaching processes , supporting people through their life and professional transitions . Each session opens a space for discovery, unlocking clarity, confidence, and new perspectives to continue moving forward—absolutely inspiring!
Team coaching in factories , such as the process with the maintenance team at an industrial plant. How powerful it is that a factory decides to invest in this! We also support supervisors and middle managers in one-on-one processes , generating new ways of leading based on prevention and care. At Life Transition®, we love working with factories because they are places where leadership decisions have an immediate impact on the safety, health, and lives of people . There, a culture of prevention becomes tangible, and awareness ceases to be theory and becomes daily practice.
The creation of PASM+ (First Aid in Mental Health) , a program with its own unique approach, adapted to the Spanish reality. Designed from the ground up with a "local touch": approachable, practical, and sensitive to the work and social culture of our environment.
Negotiation training for occupational risk prevention technicians at a multinational retailer, where we focused on how dialogue and influence skills are also part of the company's preventive role .
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) program for a group of farm managers, who discovered new ways of relating to themselves and their community. An experience that demonstrated the power of changing language to transform coexistence.
We supported teams in the hotel industry seeking to resolve everyday conflicts and challenges with clients in high-pressure situations. There, we saw that even in demanding environments, it is possible to cultivate agile thinking, cooperation, and the exchange of wisdom, and consequently, well-being, in the development of what we call "emotional labor."
A session in Paris with ESSCA Business School student advisors , where we worked on collective intelligence and unconscious biases . It was a brave and honest space, in which we explored how what we tell ourselves internally ends up shaping what we create together externally.
Presence in international communities and settings
This past year we also took our voice to communities and conferences:
At the Global FIVE Conference in Barcelona , with the talk-workshop: “Beyond the Myth: Unpacking the So-Called Imposter Syndrome” , with excellent feedback from the audience.
At the ICF Spain Virtual Event , with “Virtual Coaching 2.0: Technology for an Authentic Connection.”
International Coaching Federation (ICF Global ), invited to Frankfurt as an expert in a workshop to review and update the competencies and standards of the coaching profession , alongside a group of only 11 certified professional coaches from around the world.
L&D Shakers Hub in Barcelona , fostering a community of learning and development professionals (trainers, facilitators, coaches ) who co-create and share best practices and build community.
CG GROWTH™ at Juno House (Barcelona) , co-leading a learning and development cycle with my colleague Anna Vicen Renner : practical sessions for personal and professional growth in a community that learns by doing and connects coaching with real impact on everyday life.
And within the global #IAmRemarkable movement, we reached Gold Tier and launched the Spanish chapter , with more than 350 people participating in workshops. An achievement that demonstrates the power of making achievements visible and breaking down biases in the workplace and personal life.
Moments that marked this year at Life Transition®:
#IAmRemarkable at Juno House; participation as an ICF coach in Frankfurt; a factory maintenance team beginning their team coaching journey; communication materials created for World Mental Health Day at another industrial plant; the GROWTH™ community at Juno House; and the PASM+ creation process facilitated by Anna Iniesta Codina.
Professional Coaching: A Personal Note
As the founder of Life Transition®, my own path continued to expand. I completed a master's degree in Management and Development of People and Teams in Organizations (UB) and am about to complete another in Occupational Risk Prevention (VIU) .
On a personal and professional level, this year I also discovered and named my high abilities , specifically "giftedness," according to the psychological report I received at the end of the sessions. This discovery has allowed me to more deeply understand my way of learning, creating, seeing the world, and accompanying, and which also gave rise to a new type of coaching experience for me . It's a process I recommend experiencing if you think it could be your case, because it brings great clarity and opens new perspectives on oneself.
I also consolidated my practice as an ACTC (ICF) -certified team coach and in the process of becoming a PCC (ICF) , with more than 680 hours of coaching completed in recent years . The core of my work remains the expansion of consciousness: opening our gaze, questioning the established order, and generating new ways of being and leading in organizations .
Every session I do is a confirmation that real change begins in the invisible: in those conversations that open up a myriad of new possibilities !
DEC™ Model and Goodbye Emergency, Hello Emergency®: A Creative Nod
Transition isn't a straight line: it's a creative spiral . This year, in addition to projects and training, a project I've been developing since 2017 took center stage: the DEC™ (Divergence, Emergence, and Convergence) model .
What began as a way to understand transition processes has become a growing reference in my coaching, and is increasingly emerging as a coaching framework and a method of its own . The same is true of Goodbye Emergency, Hello Emergence® , a concept that reflects the essence of our approach: moving from urgency to emergency, making room for the new, and supporting what aspires to emerge in people and organizations.
At Life Transition®, we believe that's where the magic lies: in transforming the everyday into a space for transformation , integrating science, consciousness, and creativity.
A year may seem like a long time of silence for a blog, but in real life it has been a vibrant time, full of roots and wings.
We continue to expand from Barcelona to Spain, Europe, Brazil, the United States, and Latin America, supporting companies and individuals in their executive coaching, team coaching, leadership, and occupational risk prevention processes.
Some of you already know that at the end of September I am leaving for a new professional adventure at the European Parliament in Brussels 🇪🇺 , but in March I will be back with more learning, energy and desire to continue walking together on this journey.
Thank you for being here, accompanying us every step of the way.
I am Vanessa Alves-Ruiz , founder of Life Transition® Consulting SL , and I continue in transition: accompanying coaching , leadership and occupational risk prevention processes with a conscious and transformative perspective.
